The entire company moved from Otelfingen to Oberneunforn into a new office building including a large production hall. An aruba professional solution has been selected to ensure optimal network connectivity for the mobile devices in the production hall and their offices. As a result, Blumer's IT organization has the opportunity to use the same Aruba AP hardware and to terminate different WLANs on different mobility controllers. This facilitates the implementation of security policies when data protection across multiple networks must be guaranteed without installing separate WLANs.
All physical servers in Otelfingen have been migrated to the NetApp Storage System and have been revamped. In addition, new HPE ProLiant servers have been added to the VMware Cluster.
